RECORDINGS
WITH A KS-2000 SEISMOMETER
AND A SMART-24R DATA LOGGER
The recordings were obtained in Dallas, Texas, in the basement of the Southern Methodist University (former USGS-DAL seismic station), a joint effort of Geotech Instruments and the Geological Department of SMU. The seismometer is a 100 s Model KS-2000, digitized by a digitizer Model SMART-24R connected to the Internet and transmiting data in real-time to 2 SMARTGeoHUB Data Servers, one at SMU, and one at the Geotech facility.
