The Model 46.12 Discriminator offers visual deviation monitors, clamp to zero for loss of carrier, high input sensitivity, excellent linearity, and low drift with temperature. Connections for compensating input and output are provided for correcting data errors caused by extraneous frequency shifts. The following center frequencies are used: 340, 680, 1020, 1360, 1700, 2040, 2380, 2720, 3060 Hz. The bandwidth is ±125 Hz. The Model 46.12 Discriminator has input filters (down 9.1 dB at adjacent channel bandedge) and output filters (dc to 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 Hz) which are selectable by plug-in resistor assemblies that allow the user to change discriminator characteristics quickly without using expensive filter modules. Up to eight Model 46.12 Discriminators mount in the Model 49.03 Rack Mount Chassis.
